Health and Safety Program Development
Grand River OHS offers health and safety policy and procedure review, revisions and development to meet or exceed legislative and WSIB Workwell requirements.

Workwell Audit Preparation
If your company has been selected by WSIB for a Workwell Evaluation, we can assist you in preparation for the audit, as well, as represent you throughout the process.

Hazard and Risk Assessments
Companies have legislated requirements to identify and communicate hazards.  We involve you and your staff in the process as much as possible because you are the people who use the equipment or carry-out the tasks daily.  This documented assessment of the likelihood of injury or damage helps show that you as an employer have identified hazards and attempted to reduce the risk to your employees and your property.

Legislative Compliance Review
Grand River OHS will review your policies and procedures, as well as your physical work environment and work practises.  We compare them against current legislated requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable Regulations

Safety Coordination
Many organizations have the necessity for a Health and Safety Coordinator but are currently not large enough or in the position to hire one full-time.  Grand River OHS can provide a Health and Safety Coordinator on a casual or part-time basis to perform required tasks.

Accident and Incident Investigations
Grand River OHS can work with your company to investigate immediate or underlying causes, recommend effective solutions, and in the worst case scenario, work with your legal team to provide the best defense if charges are laid by a Ministry of Labour Official.

COR, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Conformance Audits
Our team of professional auditors can help determine whether your facility is prepared for registration or we can assist with internal audits. We can also conduct COR, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 conformance audits of your facility.

Training and Education
Generic and custom training courses are available to your company which ensure legislative compliance.  Grand River OHS can work with your organization to customize any course to make it relevant and specific to your business needs.
